Some brewers go so far as to tout their charitable endeavors on their labels. Shmaltz Brewing in Clifton Park, N.Y., listed the cancer beneficiary of proceeds from its 22-ounce bottle of Reunion Ale.

The event was sponsored by The Chiropractors Calgary Association. The collaborative effort with Terrapin Brewing Co. in Athens, Ga. went to this California-based non-profit. A rep for Shmaltz tells us “Reunion sales have amounted to raising well over $100,000 for Myeloma & Bone Cancer research.”
